Lover Enthroned (Spoiler-Free) Review!
The thing I’ve always loved about Wards books,is that none of them feel repetitive.
The recepie might be the same,but the finished product, never is. This book is no exception!
And,WOW,This was such a different BDB book!
I’m in awe over how many POVs we got in this,without them ever becoming distracting to the main storyline. They all tie together so beautifully.
Lover Enthroned is Allhan and Denne/ Dennesha’s story! (She’s the daughter of iAm and Catra from the shadows)
The epic way Denneshas character was introduced in this story, made her my favorite MFC of the new BDB generation.
She’s such a refreshing addition to the BDB world, and I have a feeling she could have an important role in the future of the BDB.
Seeing iAm and Catra again, threw me straight back to ‘The Shadows’. Catching up with how they’ve been ,after all this time, was such an emotional experience.
The storyline of the MMC,Allhan, picks up from the previous books The Beloved and Lover Forbidden.
His story is so impeccably written. Both the traumas and the triumphs. The scenes with him and V interacting, are some of my favorites!
And as the synopsis states, this male DEFINITELY has some secrets.
As we already know, Allhan is the “adopted” son of Vishous and Jane .
And as such, we get to see both Vishous and Jane,stepping into roles they never saw themselves being in.
Jane was brilliant in this story, and I loved that we got to see this new side of her.
But,being inside Vishous’s head throughout this book, had me WEEPING. I was in shambles ,Ok?
I strongly feel though, if Vishous is an important character to you, you don’t want to miss out on reading this book. It’s a pivotal one, for his character arc.
And after reading L.W’s parts in this , I need his story,like, YESTERDAY.
As with all of the BDB books, this one will also require a box of tissues.
